Friday Update

Just some more finishing to share this afternoon - I decided to try and focus this week on getting some of my 2007 projects made up and now there's only one ornament left in my embroidery roll, yay, what a good feeling that is.

Holly and Ivy Needleroll

Ho Ho Ho by Shepherds Bush

Winter's Eve by Country Cottage Needleworks

Lizzie Kate's Good Things Snippet which I stitched a few weeks ago, made into a flat fold.

I'm so looking forward to the weekend, haven't any plans except for my stitching group on Sunday afternoon and dinner out tonight for my niece Zoe's 7th birthday. The sun is back out, and with it the heat is here again, but we did get a few days of rain, just what we needed after no decent rainfull since probably between Christmas and New Year's. There's a definate autumn feel to the air in the mornings and evenings though, I love this time of the year.

Lastly for today, Miss Poppy says hello, she wanted her photo taken too :)

Have a fun weekend!!

You've been very busy with your finishing, they all look gorgeous. Your ornaments in your last post and the LK flatfold with the ribbon trim are so pretty, I love the texture that it gives the edges. Of the various needlerolls and pillows my favorite was Love Bird. It looks so pretty, and I love the fabric you found to finish it with. Cute picture of Miss Poppy too, I don't blame her for wanting to be seen with all your lovely finishes.

Might have to 'borrow' your finishing idea for Ho Ho Ho as I stiched this last year and then could not think of how I might finish it!!!
