Some Wonderful News to Share

Hey there stitching friends, I thought I would start my update today with some great news. My husband Glenn and I are happy to announce that we are expecting our first baby in May next year! We are both very excited and have officially spread the news to most of our close family and friends, who are all so thrilled for us.

We went for an ultrasound last week and our little baby is doing well :) It was so amazing:) Makes all the morning, and evening, lol, sickness over the past few weeks all worth it when you get to see a little miracle in progress. We found out quite early on and it was very hard to keep our news to ourselves, especially when I was having a rough day and needed to go home from work in a hurry, lol. But my morning sickness seems to have eased now and its only now making an appearance if I get a bit tired, which happens incredibly easy. My energy levels seem to have increased again too, thank goodness.

Its been a bit of a mission to get through work over the past few weeks - I think I mentionned that I had a big project on? It was actually an audit that we have to go through every two-three years in order to receive our Government funding to run our service. It did go well and I was extremely relieved when it was over but I had to put in alot of extra work to get everything organised beforehand. And, as you may have noticed, I've been a very absent visiting blogs as of late, my stitching has also been very minimal over the past few months - every time I tried to pick it up I'd feel quesy but over the past week I've managed to get a bit done - I have been really missing it. I'm way behind on my usual Christmas ornament stitching and haven't even thought about any Christmas gift stitching for this year but oh well.

so I hope that over the next few weeks I can catch up with all the goings on in blogging land as I've really missed visiting all your blogs and seeing what you've been stitching.

until next time, take care and keep smiling :)

Congratulations Katrina! I am so thrilled for you and Glenn! Sorry I haven't had a chance to reply to your email (or anyone's lately) - yes, Mike can get you two pair of Ginghers. They are delayed from the factory, but I will let you know as soon as they are here :-)

What wonderful news. Congratulations, a May baby, what a blessing. That first trimester can be rough but the 2nd trimester can be really wonderful. Enjoy every minute of what seems to take forever, but will really fly by.
