Catching Up

Just a little update to say that I'm still here, lol. The big work project thats been keeping me busy is due to finish early next week, thank goodness. So hopefully after that I'll have a bit more time to blog, catch up on everyone's stitching - have been really missing seeing what all my stitching friends have been up to lately, and in general, chill a bit before the end of the year madness starts.

I decided earlier in the week that I'd take a few days leave from work from the 9th - 15th of this month so I'm planning not to do much but hang out around home, stitch, read and catch up with some friends.

I thought I'd share these silly photos of Miss Poppy from earlier on this afternoon, we were outside enjoying the lovely sunshine.

I had some lovely mail arrive on Wednesday, from the Silver Needle Just Nan's Christmas Workshop kit. Can't wait to make a start on this during my holiday. Somehow I don't think it will be done in time for this Christmas though. I'm very behind in my annual ornament stitching so thats the main stitching on the agenda for the next few weeks, and I've got a pile of already stitched ornaments to make up too.

I had a visit from my friend that does all my framing last week and she bought with her these two pieces finished a few months ago. I asked my friend to pick out the mats and mouldings for each one and once again, she has done a terrific job. I'm hoping to catch up with my friends' this weekend to give them the baby sampler for their daughter.
12 Blessings is going to be for my Mum for Christmas this year.

Enjoy the coming weekend, whatever you might be up too :)
