I'm nearly there with the Lizzie Kate Christmas Blessings. As you can can see from this photo I've only got to finish the Charity block, then one more full block to do, complete the border and then attach the charms.
I've now popped this away until the weekend so I can stitch on an Open Heart and Sampler Game board over the next few days. I did have a new start last night, it was my stitching group evening and rather than take along An Open Heart (some of the stitches are a little bit tricky and I wouldn't have been able to concentrate properly with all the chatter thats goes on) I decided to finally make a start on the baby sampler for our friend's baby, Sweet Sweet Babe. Its going to be a pretty quick stitch so this will become my weekend project once the Blessings are finished. It does feel good to have some sort of plan with my stitching at the moment, over the past few months, its been a case of picking up whatever I feel like at the time. I do have another reason for getting some progress in on my bigger projects, I've a fairly large stash order, or two, lol, currently on their way from the US, and know once they are here I'll be eager to start some of my new acquisitions, lol.
its hard to believe that August is now here :) It looks like we're in for a fairly nice day out there, and Poppy sure was enjoying being outside first thing this morning.
