Bags of Fun

As you will see I've been having a lot of fun with my sewing machine lately. This spotty bag which I've made for myself is from one of the recent issues of the Australian Handmade magazine. Do you like my flower yo - yo's? I've since sewn some small blue flower buttons into the centres. Poppy just had to be in on this photo too :)

This next bag is for my friend Petra in Sweden. I found the handles recently and thought they were a perfect match for the black and red fabrics.

I love this bag - this one is going to Sweden also, for Petra's daughter Johanna.

Last night it was my stitching group get together and I worked on Royal Blossoms, managing to get it finished and beaded during the time I there. I've decided to make it into a pinkeep. I don't have any stitching progress to report from the weekend, as I didn't stitch at all Saturday and then Sunday I worked on my SB stocking for a few hours before realising I was going to have to reverse stitch all my stitches as they were all out by about 3 squares! I'm short a few threads so was trying to stitch where I had the colours but miscounted :( I think I'll pop this away until the threads arrive in at my LNS.
