Some Lovely Mail to share

A little parcel arrived yesterday from Goldie and in it was this lovely set of smalls - so pretty and Goldie has done a wonderful job of the finishing :) Thank you so much my friend :)

here you can see the needlecase opened.

Lisa had some fabric up for trade recently so I got lots of small cuts which are going to be perfect for ornaments, etc.

I also received the last installment of an order from Mary Kathryn recently. This is the first time I've bought 40ct fabric but have noticed that alot of stitchers are now using it for their projects. Mary Kathryn also sent some flossaway bags as a thank you for being so patient which I thought was really sweet :)

Thanks for the lovely comments about my recent finishing - and for the suggestions whether or not to put some ribbon around the flat fold. I've decided I will add some and will get to that over the coming weekend. oh yes, for Quiltorstitch, I'm hoping to have the 12 Blessings framed when they're done.

Probably won't be around much over the next days, we've got a very social weekend coming up, and I'm also hoping to spend most of Saturday out in our garden if it stays fine. Looking forward to getting some fresh air and sunshine and maybe start thinking about what I'd like to plant in the pots on the deck next month ready for spring.

Have a fabulous weekend, take care. Until next time ....

Beautiful smalls. I just love the different colors. And such neat work on the finishes.
I just have to say it startled me when you said you were getting ready to plant for spring. We are in the middle of summer here and looking forward to our fall season!

How's the SAL going? I started last night and made quite a dent in the middle section of mine. I'm hoping to post a pic soon. Have a lovely weekend!

What a beautiful gift! The fabrics are lovely too - you will have so much fun stitching on them. I haven't tried 40 count out yet, but 36 ct was interesting!

I love the smalls, they are just gorgeous :D Your fabric is nice too, new fabric is always a bonus. I have not ever tried anything on 40 count yet, it looks so teeny. Let us know what you think :)
