A small finish

It was my lovely MIL Heather's birthday yesterday so last night after work Glenn and I stopped by to drop off her pressies :) I finished Garden Maze into a pinkeep over the weekend for Heather, she was thrilled with it.

Garden Maze by Just Nan

My recent Just Nan addiction has continued this week with another ornament finish last night. This is Merry Old Elf which I'm going to frame to match my Jolly Old Elf.

I've decided to get back into some sort of rotation with my stitching from tonight, as over the past few weeks I've just picked up and stitched on whatever I've felt like at the time. So for the next week this is what I'm planning to do:

Wednesday - Pink Carnations by Sweetheart Tree (nearly at the half way mark now).

Thursday - Sampler Game Board

Friday, Saturday and Sunday - a new project, Faith by Little House Needleworks.

Monday & Tuesday - Becky's Quaker RR

I've got several new projects kitted and ready to start soon too - Drawn Thread's An Open Heart, Little House Needlework's Sampler Lady and a birth sampler for our friends' 4 month old daughter, Sweet Sweet Babe by Samsarah Designs (I thought Nicole's finish of this one was just gorgeous). I also have another baby sampler to stitch sometime over the next few months for my 3 month old cousin, Keanu, in Melbourne. I chose this Sisters and Best Friends design.

Time to get myself organised and off to work - enjoy your day :)

Lovely finishes. Jolly Old Elf and Merry Elf will make a very cute set. With all your projects you are certainly going to keep busy. One of these days I need to try and do a rotation system. My current system sounds like what you were doing, just picking up whatever called to me. While this is fun, a lot of the time I will lose projects to a UFO status simply because I forget I've got them.

What cute finishes! I am sure your MIL loved her pinkeep. I need to make one of those sometime. There are so many ways to finish things.

I can’t do rotations, because I have to be “in the mood” to stitch whatever it is I am working on. I tend to stitch my smaller things at work during lunch and such, and the big things at home, does that count as a rotation? LOL!

I agree with you on the stitching....I pick up whatever I feel like doing at the time...I find I do a better job that way too. Love Garden Maze...really pretty.
