A Stitchey Update

I thought it was about time for an actual stitching update. Last night I finished the small Just Nan which is going to be a birthday gift for my MIL Heather. It was such a pretty stitch and made me remember just why I love Just Nan's designs. I started another straight away, Pansies Please.

Garden Maze by Just Nan
stitched on 32ct white cashel linen

I've also made some great progress on my SAL projects this week - two more Blessings and 3 more squares on the JBW advent calendar -forgot to take a pic of these. I wonder how my Kiwi SAL mates are getting on with theirs?

Next up is my progress to date on Sampler Game board. Although you can't see from this photo I have stitched the top alphabet row right to end.

Its turned out to be a not so bad day here weather wise - there's a good breeze so all the washing will be dry soon. Oh joy, then I'll have to do the ironing won't I? Perhaps I go stitch instead as there's always another day tomorrow :)

Great progress on everything Katrina, I do so enjoy your updates. Also, your new kitty is precious! I hope you decided to stitch instead of iron, ironing is yuk! LOL

Everything looks wonderful Katrina! Definitely stitch instead of doing the ironing LOL ;) I have a mountain of ironing to do but I keep pretending it doesn't exist ;)

Lots of lovely stitching progress, and your Just Nan piece finished up beautifully. It finally seems to have stopped raining here, so hopefully the weather will stay nice for a while now.

Everything is gorgeous! Just Nan always stitch up much better than they look on the chart photos. Love the gameboard!

LOL I was finally backed into tackling my ironing pile on Friday...I spent all afternoon emptying the darned basket and it seemed like only ten minutes later it was full again - stitching is far more satifying! Haha
