Sweetheart Roll

My needleroll for February's SAL is all stitched:

Sweetheart Roll by the Sweetheart Tree

stitched on 32ct white belfast with DMC and Needle Necessities thread

I hope I've got the right heart charm on there - I've got a small bag with all the hearts in it for the Sweetheart Tree needlerolls that I've yet to stitch so when it came to picking it out it was like, umm, which one do I use, lol. I was going to make this up last night but I had a small mishap with a knife while chopping the vegetables for dinner and have now got one throbbing thumb. Its ok though, not a big cut, but in an awkward place and I keep knocking it.

For the next few days I'll be stitching on the Christmas Blessing Angel, another wip that hasn't seen the light of day since last June, lol. She just might be finished for Christmas 2007 :)

Very pretty! I think the one I've got of these (Which you sent me the thread for) will be up next month - just got to be a bit more organised to get everything else together for it!

That's a pretty piece!

And I bet that cut finger is making stitching hard. :-(

Your needleroll is beautiful! I think the heart looks lovely with it, even if it isn't the right one. LOL! Take care of that thumb too. I have a papercut on my finger in exactly the place I use to pull my thread taut. Ouch!

Lovely needleroll Katrina. Don't know if you used the correct heart but it sure looks good to me.
Hope your thumb feels better soon.

Hi Katrina, I've just found your blog and I'm adding it to my blog list (http://talesfrommyneedleblogspot.com). Your Sweetheart Needleroll is really pretty. Must have a go at one myself as I have four of those charts. Not sure about the finishing though as I've not made one before.
