Another Part Done

I was up quite late on Friday night stitching and watching dvds (both were very good and if you're into having a good cry, I'd highly recommend Dreamer, a lovely story) so managed to finish Part 10 of the Stitching Leporello - I think this part is the the thread curtain. Only one more part to stitch now but its a fairly intensive bit so it might take me several Thursday's to get it done.

I've already decided whats going to take the place of Leporello in the Thursday slot, Kath and I are going to SAL the Drawn Thread's Sampler Game Board, a project both of us have been wanting to stitch for a long time now :)

Its ornie weekend on the Christmas Ornament SAL board so here are my two choices for February - JBW Designs French Country Reindeer, stitched with DMC 115,

and the Prairie Schooler's Two by Two, from the 1998 JCS ornaments magazine, stitched with DMC threads.

Its been another gorgeous summer's day here today, and has got very hot this afternoon. I decided to have a baking session this afternoon and have made a carrot cake with lemon cream cheese icing, and some pistachio nut/white chocolate biscuits, which I don't think will be around for long as they taste so yum!

You got lots of stitching done, glad you were able to have fun doing it and watching the movie. I like to put in a movie and stitch as well.

Your ornaments look lovely. I really like the french country reindeer, it is so different. I've been looking at the patterns for the French Country series, especially the Cat and Rooster. As my mom collects rooster and chicken items, that one would be fun to do for her.
