A Spring Market

Spring time here in Central Hawkes Bay means its Spring Fling time, an annual Spring Festival with different events held over the next few months.  This year's festival kicked off on Saturday with a Spring Market held at one of the local parks with lots of stalls, food and coffee trucks, and entertainment. Hannah and I went for a few hours on Saturday morning and it was so busy, lots of people out and about. We ran into lots of our family and friends checking it out too.

We queued for a bit to try out these delicious donuts - they were so yum!

Handmade soaps from a stall favourite, Rub a Dub Dub.

Spring is off to a great start here in CHB - sunny days and it's now staying lighter in the evenings until at least 6pm.  Only three more weeks and our Daylight savings hours start, yay.

We're so proud of our dancing girl, two yearly exams, jazz and tap, done over the weekend and two to go this week, ballet and Theatre Award, which is her solo dance. This time next week Hannah is off on her school camp - she's so excited, fingers crossed for some good weather as they are camping out in tents for four nights.

See you soon xx

The soaps are pretty.
Congrats to Hannah!
We are changing to Fall here, but very hot the last few days in the US.
