This week at work, we had a day out shopping with the some of the ladies up in Napier. The weather was pretty miserable - wet and cold so of course, we had to stop by Starbucks for a hot cuppa.
Pretty exciting development at home this week too, after a long delay, we've finally had the electrical work completed in our two bathrooms, yay. One bathroom is now finally finished, well, we need to get a new plug for the bath, not sure where it went ha ha. In the shower & toilet, Glenn can now get a ceiling back up, plaster and paint, then the last of the plumbing work can be completed. Watch this space, it might just be done by Christmas.
This little puppy boy is growing so fast, I'm sure his legs grew overnight! Diesel had his first trip out to the beach last weekend with Glenn in our campervan and he thoroughly loved the water, the sand and rolling around in the sea weed.
Another happy occasion we celebrated at the end September was my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a family lunch together and spent time going through our family photo box. My Mum has always taken lots of photos of us kids and family times so it was a lot of fun looking through everything.
My parents were twenty years old when they married, I was born when they were 22 and my brother Marcus when they were 24 years old.
How gorgeous is this blossom tree, taken at the local high school when we had Hannah's parent teacher interviews. Hannah got some great feedback from her teachers and would you believe, there's only about 8 weeks left of her first year of high school?
