Last weekend Glenn and I caught a flight to Auckland for a few days - I haven't been to Auckland in a few years but Glenn was there recently for the Women's Rugby World cup final, which NZ won and was pretty epic according to Glenn :)
We didn't get into the city and checked into our motel until quite late Friday night but we were up and about early Saturday morning to have breakfast and then we caught a train to Sylvia Park mall for some Christmas shopping. Then it was back to Queen St for a browse before getting ready for our next destination, Eden Park for the Guns & Roses concert.
We caught a train out to Eden Park and just as we arrived, down it came, absolute torrential rain and we waited on the platform for about 40 minutes before it eased off so we could enter the stadium.
Luckily the rain stayed away until towards the end of the concert. We had amazing tickets in the Diamond area, which was right down the front.
Last day of high school 2022.
Have a happy week, see you soon xxx

Wow what a great trip to see Guns and Roses , we don't seem to have many new groups taking place of the old groups . I use to go all over to see our groups in the past .
Well done to your lovely daughter , have a fun week, hugs June.
Looks like a fun time.
Thanks for sharing the pics.
Congrats to Hannah on her certificates.

In June we visited also a concert of Guns and Roses in the Netherlands. It was a warm and sunny day. We saw them for the second time, we loved the music.
What a great get away for you. Congrats to Hannah (and you) on her great year. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
