I decided to treat myself to a few new charts recently, more for my Brenda Gervais collection and another by the Heartstring Samplery, which I've liked for some time. Also, some much needed threads and a few cuts of fabric were also ordered.
Last Saturday, Glenn, Hannah and I went out for the day, starting with a visit to the annual Bookarama. This is put on every year by one of our local service groups, with the funds raised being distributed to other community groups. I was very happy to collect this pile, with each one costing only $1.00 - $3.00 NZ each.
Glenn and Hannah also both picked up a bag of books each too, so our book case is now filled with lots of great reading for over the winter months.
See you soon x

Looks like a good collection of books. Where do you order all your threads and patterns from?
Nice pic of new stash!
Love the fabrics too.

You are going to be all set to hunker down this coming-soon winter! Look forward to seeing lots of stitching finishes! I think I should get back to reading, especially since I DID enjoy reading one of his books... But then Flosstube came along... So many things begging for my attention while I stitch!! Thanks for sharing! Hugs!
You will be busy over the coming months :)
I find I buy most of my books now either used online or in charity shops.
Love your choices of crosstitch charts and the linen is a great colour. Some good reading for you coming up.
