While I've been on holiday I have been having a sort through all my stitching stash, filing away patterns and leftover threads from finished projects, and putting together some new charts and supplies for the next few months.
Most years I've tended to start a new project during the Christmas and New Year week but this time I decided that I'd like to finish a couple of designs that I started last year, or in the case of BD's Christmas Garden, the year before!
I had made a very small start on With Thy Needle and Thread's Forget -me -not Sampler back in October during our family holiday and then it was put back into my stitching basket until earlier this week.
I had coffee dyed the fabric, following the instructions given, and the fabric turned out ok. I love the soft colours in this design.
So what's on the stitching agenda for 2014? I'll continue with the monthly Christmas ornaments, try and get Christmas Garden finished perhaps, and I have two baby samplers to stitch for friends that had new babies in late 2013. Kath and I are hoping to both stitch Lizzie Kate's Jingles series and I'm sure there'll be lots of new designs coming out to tempt me :)

Lovely new start! It sounds like you have some great stitching plans for 2014. I am going to try and finish some WIPS and stitch from stash and to stitch more!! Stay warm.

I love the "Forget Me Not" sampler and will be happy when mine is back from my LNS. Its waiting to be framed.
You've got a pretty color with your coffee dye there...mine, not so much.

Hmmm...let's see. I want to finish lots of WIP's including a few BAP's, and then maybe I can START Christmas Garden. My conscience won't let me start anything anew until I get some finished. I think I missed seeing Forget Me Not when it came out--cute! Hugs!
