My last stitching finish for 2013 was Mary's Sampler 11, a free mystery design offered by Paulette of Plum Street Samplers over a series of Sundays.
I was a bit late getting it underway, it was already up to week 6 when I decided to make a start.
I chose 32 count black linen and although at times it was tricky to see the right holes, lol, and not so easy to get a good photo either, I think the colours just pop on the black, especially the green.

Love your choice of fabric...very pretty,
Another lively project Katrina
Oops, should be lovely!!!!!!
It looks lovely on black. The last time I tried to stitch on black fabric I couldn't see to stitch, so won't be trying that again.
A lovely finish. The colours look great on the black fabric.
Lovely finish, it looks great on the black fabric!
You're right, the colours look fantastic on the black.
Have you tried putting a white cloth on your lap while sewing on dark colours? That works for me.
Congratulations on your finish....this is so pretty....
Very nice finish. I really like it on the black.
Lovely finish :)
Yes Katrina, I love it on black.
So pretty on the black, Katrina! If I ever find time to stitch it, I'll probably use that or a dark blue, too!
OMG, it looks so good on the black! I tried to find dark fabric for mine but everyone seemed to be out of it. Naturally I found some just last week.
You've done a fabulous job on this Katrina!
