First finishes for 2008

Its been much cooler here over the past few days so I've been making the most of it and getting lots of things done before the heat returns. At least I've been able to sleep at night, poor Glenn had about four nights in a row where he didn't get to sleep until about 2am each morning, making getting up at 6.30am very hard. He was exhausted by the end of the week.

I've had my first baby stitchey finish this week, a little DMC lamb. I had bought this several years ago when my niece was a baby but its been tucked away ever since. The other week when I was sorting through a shelf in my craft cupboard I came across it so decided to stitch this little motif from a the World of Cross Stitching magazine. Too cute :)

Late Friday night I put the final stitches into Curly Q Ewe so here it is all finished.

I found a perfect frame for this amongst my collection of unused frames so hope to frame it myself sometime soon.

In my qsnaps now is Blessings Be Thine by Blackbird Designs, which I started during my Christmas holidays. I had ran out of the cranberry sampler thread but Kath came to my rescue. This will be my next finish hopefully :)
