This little design by Pineberry Lane was quick stitch one night last week. I have stitched this design before with red thread and this time I went with DMC 501 on natural belfast linen.
This ornament will be soon making it's way to Australia as it's for a friend's little grand daughter.
The fabrics were purchased at Spotlight and Cottage Flair. The whimsical Alice in Wonderland will make a great knitting project bag.
A couple of newly released books arrived in at my local library and both of these I enjoyed.
Read any good books lately?
See you soon xx

Just read the new Jane Harper (autographed for me!) "The Lost Man". Like her others could not put it down! Hence the scramble to finish the very last bit of uni work today before massive presentation to faculty tomorrow... cute stitching. And love the fabric. I've lots of Christmas fabric, but no plans for it...
Such lovely Christmas fabric! I got some fabrics too, though not Christmas-y ones, on sale last weekend. I have washed them now and have already finished off a top I sewed up with one of them. Meg:)

The thread and fabric combination is very effective. I love all the fabric you got.
