I'm so happy with how this little baby blanket turned out, how can you not be, with all the colours in the rainbow in it! It will soon posted away with a few other gifts to my dear friend in the UK for her new arrival, a sweet little baby boy, born at the end of February.
For the colour inspiration I followed the suggestions from the Patchwork Heart Blog, a wonderful source of all things crochet.
I've already decided on my next crochet blanket -Lucy from Attic 24's Morland Blanket, which I hope to get underway very soon.
See you soon x

What a lovely, lovely blanket. Perfect for a little one.
I too have been looking at Lucy's Moorland blanket. Still undecided on that one.
Wow! It looks amazing!!
Wish I was a baby again, then I could sleep with this blanket :-)
Well done!
Have a great week, Sigrid
Beautiful....a perfect gift for the baby.
A beautiful gift with gorgeous colours! This is sure to be a family heirloom.
This is just super Katrina! L♥VE it!!
I love your rainbow blanket. The colours are stunning and it looks very cozy, too. I bet your friend and her new baby are delighted. x
Beautiful blanket, beautifully crocheted and finished. I think your friend will be delighted.
I have been eyeing Lucy's Moorland CAL...beautiful shades. I use all Stylecraft Special Dk since my first Granny Stripe Blanket following Lucy. I'm knitting a blanket presently using it. I just love Patchwork Heart too and your blanket is so sweet. I'm sure it is destined to be very loved.
Such a beautiful blanket. I love the colours and pattern so much. A wonderful gift that I'm sure your friend and little one will love x
So timely! I've been thinking about gym competitions and needing to think of a smallish simple knitting/crochet project that I can take along with me - this is perfect!
