: Last week Hannah started a new school year, Year 3, so it's back into after school activities, Brownies and swimming lesssons this term.
: I'd had this book on reserve at the library for ages and I picked it up last week, its so good, I got lots read at the beach. Speaking of the library, our town library reopens at the end of the month after being renovated and earthquake strengthened. For the past year, the local library has been operating from a small shop in the main street so I can't wait to get back into the bigger library, I have really missed it.
:My friend Kath gave me a copy of Chelsea Winter's new cooking book Homemade Happiness for Christmas and one night last week I made the Chicken Fettucine for our dinner.
:it got the big thumbs up from all of us!
: aren't these hydrangeas so pretty? I took this photo in the gardens at Oruawharo Homestead, when I attended a friend's wedding recently.
: mini gingerbread loaves made last weekend, so yummy! The recipe was given to me by my cousin Donna in our annual Christmas recipe exchange.
See you soon xx

I hope Hannah is happy to be back at school. I think I will get that recipe book out of the library. I love Hydrangeas and these ones are just gorgeous. The ginger mini loaves look soooooooo yummmmmmy
Hannah is looking adorable....those loaf cakes look yummy.
Hannah is growing up so quickly. Wonder if your library will have lots of brand new books too. Those hydrangeas are stunning.
Hannah is just adorable! Such a pretty, little gal! All the food looks amazing but gingerbread loafs? YUMMMMMMM!
I just loved this recipe. Thanks for sharing. We just reserved one of best venues in NYC and were looking for our options about food. The venues charges are reasonable and services seemed to be satisfactory at this value.
Would you consider sharing the recipe? Looks yummy!
