Hello there
I can finally reveal a bit of secret stitching done quite some time ago, a Shepherd's Bush pin cushion for my dear friend Kath's birthday last weekend. We are both big Shepherd's Bush fans and I so enjoyed stitching this pretty design for Kath.
Peace and Plenty by Shepherds Bush
stitched with fabric and thread in kit
For the backing I chose a piece of fabric by Lynette Anderson, another favourite designer of Kath's.
For many years now I have given Kath an ornament on her birthday. For this year's I decided to stitch one of the small stockings from one of the latest Lizzie Kate patterns, we both love Lizzie Kate designs too.
I'll have several other finishes to share soon - I'm very pleased to say that the last of my 2013 ornaments and other craft gifts are all finished. I'm hoping to get the last block on Santa's Village finished this week and then get back to the Lizzie Kate mystery sampler and the Plum Street Sampler SAL, aiming to have them both finished by the end of the year.
See you soon x
