Spring is here & Father's Day

Hello dear friends

I hope you had a wonderful weekend - we certainly did around here.  I started the weekend by having a haircut and colour on Friday afternoon, a pick me up was exactly what I needed.  For the first time in quite a few weeks we didn't have any set plans for either Saturday or Sunday. I decided to start having a spring sort out - tidying up drawers, sorting out cupboards, etc while Glenn spent most of the weekend pottering in the garage working on his "projects" - painting up some new seating for around our pool and window frames for the new green house.

The weather even co operated, perfect to get out and about with Hannah and Zoe, with a little trip to one of the local playgrounds on Saturday afternoon.

It was also Father's Day here yesterday and we started the day with Hannah presenting DH with the little gifts and card she'd made at daycare. She had them hidden under her bed all weekend!

This was followed by a delicious cooked breakfast and then later in the day we spent time with the other wonderful Dads we know, my lovely Dad and father in law Cliff.  I cooked a Rolled Roast Pork and vegetables for dinner - yum!

as always, many thanks for the comments left about my recent finish! See you soon x

What a lovely picture of Hannah and her Daddy.
Congratulations on your mention in the latest Cross Stitch Magazine. I was reading through, saw your blog mention and went "Hey, I know her! Been reading her blog for many years!!!!"
