Hello friends
I hope you had a lovely weekend, it was a good one here, even better that we had two sunny days and all the washing, and ironing, is now completely up to date!!
We've been watching a fair bit of the Olympics over the weekend so I've been stitching away. I put the final stitches into my latest project during the opening ceremony, which was show here on Saturday morning.
The Sampler Lady by Little House Needleworks
stitched on 32ct cream belfast with the recommended threads
I made a wee mistake on the lady's skirt but didn't think it was too obvious so decided to go with what I'd already stitched. I found the perfect frame for it in one of the local shops, and better still I got 40% off so hopefully I'll get around to framing it one day soon.
Yesterday I spent a few hours in the kitchen making up some goodies for DH's birthday party coming up soon - spinach & ricotta mini quiches, mini savory muffins, herbed pikelets and mini ham, egg and cheese savouries. My friend Georgia helped, she cooked and I did the dishes, lol, so now there's only a few things to do later in the week.
See you soon xx
