Hi friends,
I was sorting through some charts and kits I bought during 2011 over the weekend and came across my supplies for the Birds of a Feather mystery sampler by With Thy Needle and Thread .
I'd purchased this when it was released and never even got to put one stitch into it last year. So I've decided once I finish "Rosey", hopefully this week sometime, this is going to be my next main project :) I'm not sure if I'm going to start with the outside border first, or in the middle of the design as that's I normally do with a new project. Any thoughts?
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my last post!
See you soon x

it's lovely! can't wait to see your start.
Sounds like a great project and the thread colors are so pretty. I start at the top left 3 inches down and in and work the border as I work across and down. That is most of the time, sometimes a figure in the middle will draw me in and I just have to start there. Well I'm no help. CJ in OK ;-)
Lovely project. Looking forward to seeing your new start. I usually start in the middle as I like my stitching to be centered on the linen.
Hugs,
Veronica.
Lovely new project. I always start from the middle.
Love the Birds of a Feather. I have that one all kitted up too, can't wait to start that one. I have always been taught to start in the middle but only recently been doing corner starts... makes me nervous doing it that way, I always double check the measurements. Looking forward to seeing your new start! Have a great week!
That's a gorgeous design in really luscious colors. I have to start in the center. Murphy's law says the design will always be off-center if I try to start in one corner, no matter how carefully I cut and measure!
I love this one, I can't wait to see your start.
Great new project! Mine is kitted up and in the waiting pile!
Can't wait to see your start on this. It is gorgeous.
This is my next big start too! I'm stitching it as a thank you gift for a friend. She lets me use her sewing machine all the time and I offered to stitch something for her. This was her choice! I just got it kitted up last week.
That mystery sampler looks cool, and I love the muted colors of the fibers.
