Saturday afternoon we took a trip south out of town, only 10 minutes away, to a farm called Taniwha, where every year in September, the owners allow visitors to wander through paddocks, and paddocks, and more paddocks of beautiful daffodils. There's so many different varieties and every year more and more are planted. What a gorgeous spot for a Saturday afternoon stroll.
For only $3 you can pick a big bunch and all proceeds are donated to Plunket.
This year various sculptures of all types could be found around the paddocks and in the lake. I loved this one! We had such a happy time, out in the sunshine, Hannah and Zoe had so much fun.
I hope you've enjoyed a little taste of our spring festival. Thanks for stopping by :)
See you soon x

oh man! I swear I can almost smell those daffodils!
Awww, Hannah is sooo cute.
What a nice place you've visited!
I'm sure your little girl had a lot of fun picking up the daffodils!
What lovely photos! I love spring and those photos say Happy Spring! Your girls look very happy there (so would I!).
I very much enjoyed your pictures from both outings with the girls. They certainly looked like they were having a good time.
I would love to pick daffodils like that. For some reason they just don't do well in my soil.
It will be some time now before I see daffodils here again!
What a beautfiul spot...you never realise how many different varieties of daffs there are!! They are such cheery things.
