This is Laura's Embroideries by Craft-Corner Collections, a design I've liked for quite some time and I thought it would be just perfect for Kath.
I think I'll restitch this one for myself sometime :)
For many years now, Kath and I have exchanged an ornament every Christmas so I decided to give Kath her one with her birthday pressies.
stitched on 32ct dirty belfast with Sampler threads
For Kath's birthday dinner I made lasagane, a salad and coleslaw - just perfect for a warm summery evening. We also had a few glasses of bubbly wine. Then came dessert, made by Kath. Doesn't it look delicious.............

Nice stitching Katrina! Love the pav that Kath made too. Did she tell you we spoke on the phone the other week for more than an hour? LOL.
LOve the colours on the sampler.
That pav does look divine.
Seasonals! Like you, I can't wait for my 3 weeks off, LOL
Beautiful stitching Katrina. I absolutely love that ornament and your finishing is so perfect. Both pieces look fantastic. It looks like you had a wonderful time and that cake looks scrumptious.
I love the colors you used for the Mary Garry piece, very pretty. The ornament is so nice too and the cake looks beyond yummy.
A very nice stitching, both - the alphabeth with the lovely girl and also the angel -
