A big thanks to everyone who left a congratulations message for us - thank you so much, it was so lovely to read your messages. I've been much better this week, still being sick in the mornings but once that has passed I'm not left feeling yucky for the rest of the day. Tiredness is a biggie at the moment, I go to bed early and still wake up tired the next day, crazy lol.
Summer has well and truly arrived here over the last few days - yesterday it was at least 30 C and today its the same although there is a lovely cool breeze to keep the temperature down a little. Not complaining though :)
A parcel arrived the other day from Anne containing my finished Quaker RR and Nicki's RR for me to stitch on. Here's mine, all finished except for the date which I need to stitch in on my middle section. I'd chosen DMC 3768 (my favourite shade) and 32ct summer khaki belfast liney for my piece.
sorry the pic isn't too good, this was taken early yesterday morning. I'm so pleased with how this has turned out: it was such a fun project to be involved with and thanks again so much to Becky, Karen, Barbara, Nicki and Anne for including me in this special friendship round robin.
If you want to check out some of the other finished pieces please take a peek on our blog. I hope to get Nicki's stitched and returned to her as soon as I can manage it.
I had some stash arrive today and haven't even had the chance to open the envelope yet so I might go and get myself a nice chilled water and sit out in the shade on our deck for a bit while I have a look through it all and until its time to get our dinner organised.

The RR piece is gorgeous! I really like the idea of breaking a piece into parts and each person stitching a part or the whole! It would make such a treasured piece!
