A few weeks ago I went along to my monthly class at the local scrapbooking shop. This time it was cards:
I'm now half way on an Open Heart, this has been a lovely stitch so far.
And more progress on the Jillian stocking this week. As you can see, I've run out of the Concord thread so will need to order another skein. Just a note to anyone thats intending to stitch this design, you will need three skeins of the Concord colour.
Its a gorgeous day here today, which is a nice change from the terrible winds we've been having for the past week. Although its a lovely day, my DH is very sad this morning, the All Blacks rugby team have just lost to France in the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup, only by two points. It was so nerve wracking watching the last few minutes, we were both on the edge of our seats.

Katrina and Nicki, I'm sorry about yesterday evening... In all honesty I think the All Blacks deserved to win! Those championships are not always very representative of the levels of the teams involved.
I was thinking about you, Nicki and Kiwi Jo yesterday and thinking how unfair you must have felt that was.

I have to say that was the only good reason to be on a 5am shift this week - I got to watch the All Blacks vs France match during work ;) Very sad with the end result, though ... Your WIP's are looking awesome, and the cards are great! :D
