Over the weekend I had a little finishing spree so here are the results. There's one more pic to share but that will come later when its reached its destination.
Pansies Please by Just Nan - I'm still debating whether or not to add a rouched ribbon around the edges, what do you think?
Home for the Holidays Drawn Thread, finished into a mini hanging pillow.
Faith by Little House Needleworks, made into a small pillow. I think this fabric is so pretty and I'm pleased I've been finally able to use it for something as its been in my sewing stash for quite some time.
As I mentionned the other day I've been working on my Lizzie Kate Blessings. This is where I finished up last night . I've got three more to go but have made a start on the border. Because I'm not sure where my SAL mates are with their pieces, and because I've been enjoying stitching it so much, I've decided to continue on until I finished rather than putting it away for another month.
I also snapped this photo of Poppy just before, up on the trelis, one of her favourite spots in the garden. She was enjoying the fine weather, racing around and exploring.
Sometime this week I'm going to be starting a new SAL with Karen, a Drawn Thread one. Karen will be stitching Linen and Lace and at long last, I'm planning to start An Open Heart. Can't wait.
Before I go, I'd like to make mention of the flange pillow tutorial that I posted on the Focus on Finishing blog over the weekend. Come on over and check it out, there's some lovely pillows having been made so far. Many thanks to Karen and Anne for inviting me to share this with everyone.

Fabulous finishes, Katrina!! My favourite would have to be the LHN pillow... very sweet!!
Lovely work as usual Katrina!! They are all fabulous! Congratulations!
I would add the ruched ribbon but then, I can never leave anything unembellished!!
Beautiful finishes Katrina! I think the ruched ribbon would look good too, but it looks nice as it is :)
Love the photo of Poppy - she looks so much like Maisie!
That is all so pretty Katrina. Beautiful picture of Poppy, too!

I love your finishes. The Pansies Please fold is beautiful!
Lovely finishes - yes, I think the rouched ribbon would add a lot to Pansies Please. Poppy looks fantastic in her favorite spot!
Beautiful finishes!
I love how you finished all of them, they look beautiful! The flatfold looks great, I think the ribbon around the edges would be too much, since the pattern is already fancy, maybe just cording?
Your Blessings WIP looks great, what do you plan to do with it when you are done? Those are so cute, I may have to do them eventually.
Your finishes are beautiful!
And Poppy looks very happy out and about the garden.
BEEufitul finishes, Katrina :) Congratulations!
Oh your finishing is always so fabulous! Love the fabrics you chose on them! Your WIP is also looking great! Check your mailbox! LOL
Great finishes Katrina!!!
Everything looks beautiful Katrina. Yes I think Pansies please needs a little something more and the ruched ribbon should do it.
I'm curious I know how to ruche the ribbon but what's the best way to attach it?
Beautiful finishes Katrina! I love the flat fold and think the ribbon would add a nice finishing touch. Your blessings is beautiful too. Nice finishes.
Love the Pansies - cord though, ruched ribbon would be a bit much, IMHO
You've been a busy bee: solar powered LOL
All the pieces are gorgeous! I like the idea of putting a ruched ribbon edging on your Pansy piece. The LK blessings are coming along well - so cute!
wow, all great finishes. I love how the LHN one turned out and your finishing are so pretty. The LK piece is coming along great.
Wow, you have been increadibly busy with all those finishes. I really love the Just Nan piece. Great work!!
Gorgeous finishes, and your LK piece is looking lovely as well. Pansies is so pretty, great job on the finishing. I can't decide if I like it best the way it is or with a ruffle, however I'm leaning a bit towards the ruffle side.
Cute picture of Poppy, it is neat how she's outlined against the sky.
