We had a good weekend, Glenn headed off to Wellington early Saturday morning and I spent a few hours tidying up around the house before Donna arrived. We decided to head into town to have a late lunch and to pick up a few essentials for our girl's night - chips and dip, and popcorn. It was a lovely evening with Zoe - we painted our fingernails, put on face masks and watched the Disney channel on tv, lol.
My two favourite girls - Zoe with Poppy
Yesterday afternoon after Donna left to head on home I finished off an ornament I'd been working on over the past few evenings before heading to the movies to see Pirates of the Carribean 3 with my friend Rosie.
Just Cross Stitch October 2006, stitched on 28ct quaker
I hope you had a great weekend :)

Zoe and Poppy look like they are having fun, glad you all had such a good time this weekend. Your finish is lovely, so bright and cheery with the cardinals.

What a fun weekend you must have had!! Zoe is a lucky girl to have a wonderful auntie like you. She & your darling Poppy look so sweet together.
Lovely finish on you cardinal. I keep on thinking it's too hot here for Christmas patterns but perhaps it would cool me down.(lol)
Have a great week.
Sounds like a great girls night! Love your Pine Tree Inn - so cute!
Oh, coolness sounds good. Upper 90's here in Florida. Lovely ornament! Sounds like you a lovely weekend.
Looks like Zoe & Poppy were enjoying themselves! It's summer here in the US - 90F temps *whew* Your ornament turned out nice. I like it!
