And a little bit more

Yesterday I went to another cardmaking class at the local scrapbooking shop and these are the cards I made plus a small box, isn't the bunny cute - I'll definately give this one to Zoe at Easter.

The other two orders I made recently were in my letter box over the weekend. The Toccata III pattern is just beautiful, so pleased I splashed out on this one, and all the Cats Whiskers charts are lovely with some great finishing techniques to try out.

I couldn't resist the next few in the Little House Needleworks fruits series, and some Weeks, Gast and Crescent Colour threads from my wish list.

So no more stash buying for me ok folks, lol, yeah right!!

I finished my friend's birthday gift over the weekend so I'm in the process of lacing and framing it with a premade frame I bought. I found another suitable frame for City Stitcher Country Stitcher so will get that done this week too. I'm so close to finishing the last part of Stitching Leporello, only a few Rhodes stitches, back stitching and beading to go. Amazing to think that I've been working on this project for a good 10 months. Mind you, the last six parts I've stitched since December, lol. All going well I'm going to start something new very soon, Spring Violets by Country Cottage Needleworks, which I can't wait to stitch after seeing Nicole's wonderful finish, and also Drawn Thread's Sampler Game Board. But I will have to turn my focus to Titania next month, especially if I want her finished and framed in time for my group's annual exhibition in May.

Daylight savings ended here on Sunday and already its almost dark by 7pm. The weather is still behaving, mild and sunny, except for a few days of rain and wind over the weekend. Not complaining about the rain though, everything has got so dry, its good to see a tinge of green in the lawns today.

I hope you're having a happy week so far :)

Hi, Katrina!
I wish I were so close to finishing the Leporello! I started St. Petersburg, and of course don't have all the Treasure Braid I need, so I'm at a stand-still until I can get some. Love your new stash! My kind of girl!! New stash is the best refreshment!

The cards are so cute! I've done scrapbooking, but I've never made cards... I'll have to try that some time. I love all your new stash - Those Cat's Whiskers charts are so different and pretty. I'm very tempted to try one. Anyway, you will enjoy Spring Violets - it was a very fun stitch!

Fun cards, Zoe will love the bunny, and great stash. I have the Peaches by LHN and Cherries is currently on my wish list. The colors in these are so pretty. I hopped over and looked a Spring Violets on Nicole's blog, that one may need to go on my list as well. So many lovely projects, so little time. Looking forward to seeing more of Titania,
Sue

What cute cards! I'm into art trading cards and just getting into altered books. I like them as you can use what you have on hand and really get your brain cells churning to make an interesting piece of work.
