Over the weekend I started a new project, the Quaker Friendship Sampler by Samplers and Such. This is for a round robin with several blogging friends. I chose 32ct belfast summer khaki and my favourite DMC thread, 3768.
You can see our groups' progress here.
Its back to Titania this week and I've been making great progress on her left wing which I hope to complete tonight - I have to say the silver blending filament is driving me crazy, its the first time in ages I've stitched with it as I prefer to use braid. But I will perservere, lol.

I love your colours Katrina! I'm really looking forward to stitching on it :)
What a lovely new project and a unique idea to do a quaker RR. You picked a great fabric and color thread.
I love the colors, too!
I have seen this design on several other blogs! I love the combination you chose! It's going to be beautiful. You've got something on its way to you too! :)
Very pretty project...and the colors are wonderful :)
Gorgeous, Katrina :) I love your fiber and fabric choice :)
What a great start! I love the colour you are using.
That's very pretty Katrina! LOL I had to go look and see if I ordered that in my big stash fest, unfortunately I looked at it but did not buy it. Guess I better put it on my wish list ;) Looking forward to your Titania update, I think she is so pretty.
Katrina, it's lovely! As the other ladies I really like the colours.

That is so beautiful Katrina!
Beautiful start. I love the blue.
Your quaker RR start looks lovely. I've never noticed that DMC colour before as I tend to be a 'purple' person but I had to go have a look and I can see why you like it so much. It's a gorgeous colour. All the RR's are looking beautiful in their different colours.
I have to agree with you about the metallic blending filament. I'm working with some gold at the moment and although it looks very pretty. Arghhh! What a pill to work with!! We press on. ;o)
For some reason your comments won't let me use my wordpress blog so I used my google sign in. You'll be redirected from my old blog to my new one though.
Oh I like it, the color is so pretty. What a lovely new project.
