How many strands of floss do you prefer to stitch with? Why?
When I'm stitching with DMC threads on 28 or 32 count fabric I generally use two strands and when I use Needlepoint Silks or any other silks I'll only use one strand.
Sometimes though if the weave of the fabric is quite loose I'll change to whatever I think is better to give better coverage - I have a "thing" about being able to see the fabric through the "x".
