After spending the weekend away from home visiting with my cousin Donna, I'm feeling very refreshed and inspired to get into all the up and coming craft projects I've got planned over the next few months. As always I really missed DH and Hannah, but it was so wonderful to have some "me" time - to browse the shops, go out for coffee, spend time chatting and laughing with my relatives (we always have a blast hanging out together) and I even went to the movies, all by myself!!
Saturday afternoon I spent a couple of hours stitching and reading until Donna finished work. I'd taken Twilight Pearls with me as its been very neglected since I first started it way back in June.
Just Nan's Twilight Pearls
Don't my gingher scissors match perfectly :)

And now for a sneak peak on something I've been working on lately for Miss H's bedroom
Its been a lot of fun as I haven't worked on a stitchery project for a very long time. I'll leave telling you what the project actually is, all will be revealed soon I promise!
Thanks for your visit today,
~Katrina~

Lovely stitching! I can't wait to see what those lovely stitchery pieces become :)
The stitchery bits are very cute. Definitely curious to see what they become.
I'm impressed by your tackling Twilight Pearls. I think it's a gorgeous piece, but no way would I be able to put it together. You're very brave!
Your Just Nan piece is lovely. I agree with Blu, you are very brave to do that piece.
I've seen Twilight Pearl's made up and it's beautiful. I love the colours in the "surprise" for your daughter.
I agree the scissor match the JN piece. Both beautiful colours. Your stitching, embroidery is also very pretty. :)
I have admired the Just nan piece and your stitching is coming along beautifully. Can't wait to see the finish.
