Victorian Floral Needleroll

I wasn't sure how much stitching I was going to get done on the needleroll over the weekend but I'm pleased to say that I put the final stitches in last night so now it just needs to be made up.

Victorian Floral Needleroll by the Sweetheart Tree, stitched on 32ct cream Belfast.

I'll check out everyone's progress over the next few days :)

It has been such wonderful weather here the past few days, very sunny and mild, temperature reached 18 c yesterday and today its supposed to get to 22 C, could there be a hint of spring in the air? I was able to get out for two long walks over the weekend, and it was certainly good to have all the doors and windows in the house open yesterday to have a good airing out. Gotta make the most of days like this during the middle of winter, lol.

Glenn and I went out Saturday to help celebrate with friends of ours that are getting married in Fiji next month, Glenn went with the guys and I was out with the girls :) We travelled by bus to first Havelock North to a bar and then over the Napier where we had a scrummy dinner at the Thirsty Whale. The bus dropped me off at 2.00am and Glenn arrived home from his night out at 3.00am!! I woke at my normal waking time of 6.00am and thought to myself this is ridiculous I've only been asleep 4 hours! But I was able to snooze a bit longer finally getting up at 8am. Needless to say, yesterday was a very quiet day around home, neither of us venturing very far anywhere except for my walk and Glenn to pick up the Sunday paper and a couple of dvds to watch.

And yay, I finally finished Part 2 of the Stitching Leporello on Friday night so I'll post a pic tomorrow. This week I hope to have a couple of finishes, including Kelly's seasonal exchange gift and Coffee Menu. I'm also really looking forward to the 10th anniversary JCS magazine arriving as I had preordered it with Drema, not only because it looks great but because there's a couple of other stash items coming with it, including a piece for longly awaited fabric for a stitchalong with Karen.

That's so pretty. Nice job, as always.

Remind me next time to avoid a chart that is mainly satin stitch.lol :)

It really sounds like a wonderful weekend you had. Can't wait to see the Part 2 of Stitching Leporello (I had to check back for spelling. lol)
