Yay its Friday!

You wouldn't believe how pleased I am that its Friday today, especially since I only work until lunchtime. Its been a full on week with one thing or another, and after spending 12 days in a row at my workplace, including the days for the exhibition, it will be good to be home over the weekend.

I worked on 12 Houses last night and made some small progress, 2 houses stitched now :)

I'm stitching this on 32ct Summer Khaki belfast, one of my favourite coloured fabrics. And here is my progress so far on April's Block of the Stitching Leporello, 2 nights worth of stitching :)

a big thanks too for all the wonderful comments about the framing and the exhibition photos, you guys are awesome!

This weekend coming up is the needleroll SAL weekend so who's up for it? LOL. I'm going to start Strawberry Patch Roll by the Sweetheart Tree this afternoon, almost looks like a Christmas roll with the lovely red and green threads.

and now for a new Stitching Meme:

Startitis? Have a case of startitis? What projects are you dying to start? Which would you start today if you "allowed" yourself?

Well firstly, I could put a list here that would be pretty much endless! But at the moment I'd say I'm dying to start a couple of my newer charts An Open Heart, Don't Bug me when I'm stitching, and Indigo Rose's Beecharmer. If I could I'd start An Open Heart but I don't have all the supplies for it just yet so probably just as well :)

Catch you later.

You have a jump on Friday. :) Yay! I forgot about the SAL. I got it out last weekend and really wasn't in the mood but after all my whining I figured I'd better do it until I remembered it was only the first weekend. LOL Now I am in the mood, thank goodness, so I will be stitching along with you..even though you're on a whole new one. ahem.

Well, it's almost Friday here now, lol! Won't be any stitching for me for the next couple of days, but perhaps on Sunday - after all, it's Mothers' Day here, lol!

You're reading another amazing book Katrina - The Red Tent - I really enjoyed that one too! ... and the latest Jodi Picolt is on my list, of course LOL

Oh - and your stitching looks great too ;) (of course!)

Have a nice weekend :)

I absolutely MUST stitch an ornie this weekend for a friend's who is expecting, so I probably won't be joining in the needleroll SAL. But, I shall be with you ladies in spirit!

It looks like you had a wonderful exhibition. The photos were lovely-- thanks for sharing.

Katrina, You always have such lovely stitching completed when I stop by here! Thanks for sharing the exhibition photos! Must look closer at those needlerolls! Is the Leperello a Martina design? I love her needlework smalls!

Hope you enjoyed a great weekend.

You're off to a great start on 12 Houses. I've stitched this one and it is one of my favorite DT pieces!

I've got more things that I would like to start than you can shake a stick at, but I like to keep WIPs to a reasonable minimum, else it gets silly. I once met someone on-line who had NEVER finished anything!!!

Just beautiful stitching as always :) The exhibition photos are fantastic - what a visual feast!! And your latest framed pieces turned out beautifully too :) (Can you tell just how far behind I am in blog reading?? haha) Thanks for your comments on the Strawberry Patch needleroll - the only thing I wasn't 100% sure on was the yellow beads when I put them on last night, but they've grown on me ... As for next month I'm a bit undecided - it's a choice of Friendship NR by Shepherd's Bush, In the Dark NR by Lena Rose, Summer at the Ocean by Jeannette Douglas (but I'm missing one GAST yet), or Summer Solstice by Eventide (but I'm also missing one thread - mind you, I think I can easily substitute) ... oh, decisions decisions ... ;P
