A bit weary eyed

A few hours ago I arrived home from Palmerston North, which is a city about 1 1/2 hrs south of where I live. A work colleague and myself had travelled there on Thursday evening for a two day workshop. I'm really excited about the knowledge that I've come home with, and can't wait to put it to practise. The workshop was all about "PATH" - Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope, in another words setting goals and creating action plans. I learnt how to do "graphics" - people, emotions and things in a way that symbolises a person's dreams and aspirations. As part of my job, this is a big part, helping my clients identify their goals and then helping them achieve them. I was able to practice facilitating and graphing paths of two other attendees on the course and found that very inspiring.

We stayed with my aunt and uncle, and last night went out to dinner at a really nice cafe. I did find some time for stitching over the past few days and have completed all but the finishing on SB's Happy Wishes scissor fob. W and I didn't get time for any major shopping, boo hoo, but we did visit a wool shop where I bought some really cool white faux fur to knit my niece a bolero, and some funky chunky wool, to also knit her a poncho. I just need to find some size 15 needles so I can get started on it. have you seen size 15 needles? they are enormous!

I'm pleased its only Saturday and I can spend a day at home before heading into another hectic week at work. Goodnight!
